A remittance is a transfer of funds from one party to another. Mostly this term is referred to when an individual working abroad sends money to their family back home.

Is credit card and debit card the same thing?

No, credit cards and debit cards are not the same thing. A credit card is a type of credit facility, provided by banks that allow customers to borrow funds within a pre-approved credit limit. A debit card is a payment card that deducts money directly from your bank account and can be used to get cash from an ATM.

Is it advisable to take a loan to study further or for education purposes?

The loan taken for education purposes can be considered a good loan. The loan taken for buying a home, education, or starting a business has the ability to create assets in the future like after completing the said education, an individual having good job opportunities or even starting up their own business.
